Wedding Registry

So yeah, I'm planning a wedding for this July.  We finally found time to schedule an impromptu visit to our local Bed Bath and Beyond.  WOW!  After 2 hours, I was exhausted.  HTB (Hubs to Be) had no problem operating the scanner gun.  In fact, he's really surprised me with how much he has stepped up to the plate with all of this planning business.  Speaking of plates, we went with boring old vanilla plain old white and mixed square and rounded shapes. They will never go out of style and are so durable you can stand on them...a plus for clumsy couples like us who have the dropsies.  We only did dinner and salad plates, but had to have ROUND bowls for cereal and soups.
Here's our plates!

Anywhoo, the registry made us feel like a king and queen with a magic wand.  They have incentives :read FREE STUFF: for scanning enough certain name brand products.  I am done at 123 items registered, but they suggest 2 gifts per person invited...haha 400.  How can anyone need or want more than 100 things?  We are also thinking about registering at another store for big expensive things (TV, vacuum) so that when no one in their right mind buys them, we can go in and buy them at a discount, just because they're on the registry!  woot woot!  Problem is which one do we pick?
Target?
Amazon.com?
Best Buy?

Hmmm...decisions.

  1. Ive heard many complaints about target as far as wedding gifts go. I've heard that they rarely ever want to accept a return that is from a registry n they will definitely not take something back just because u got a double of it. But ... they DO have cute stuff so it might be worth the hassle.
